About OK Humane Society of Oklahoma

The OK Humane Society of Oklahoma, a nonprofit organization founded in 2007, is dedicated to improving the lives of animals in our community. With a mission to eliminate euthanasia of healthy, adoptable pets, the society provides various programs and services to ensure the well-being of these animals.

Our Programs and Services

1. Adoption Services

Our adoption center offers a loving and safe environment where individuals can find their perfect animal companion. Our dedicated team conducts thorough assessments to match individuals with pets that suit their lifestyle and preferences. Through our adoption services, we have successfully provided numerous animals with forever homes.

2. Spay and Neuter Clinic

At OK Humane Society of Oklahoma, we understand the importance of spaying and neutering in controlling the pet population and preventing pet homelessness. Our state-of-the-art clinic offers low-cost spay and neuter services, making it accessible for pet owners to ensure responsible pet ownership.

3. Foster Care Program

Our foster care program plays a crucial role in our mission to save lives. It allows volunteers to open their homes and provide temporary care for animals that are not ready for adoption, such as pregnant cats or dogs recovering from surgeries. By fostering these animals, volunteers provide them with love, care, and a safe environment until they find their forever homes.

4. Community Outreach

As part of our commitment to the community, we actively engage in educational initiatives and outreach programs.
